in Uterine/Endometrial Cancer #1

We were so excited that I was feeling better and that we were going to be able to make a short trip to see our two youngest kids and visit Seaside, OR, but Wednesday that all came to an end.  I ended up with servere pain in my stomach, went to the ER and ended up with a partial bowel obstruction.  At least I did not have to have surgery this time and was able to go home this afternoon.  Told to rest and be careful what I ate.

    Lou Ann, I am sorry to hear

    Lou Ann, I am sorry to hear this.  I had a friend's wife - who has ovarian cancer - who has experienced several of these and looked to the colorectal boards for guidance.  I don't know if you have had these before but I hope you can find a way to minimize this and get back to your living.  I've said it before - you amaze me.

    Darn it Lou Ann! So sorry this happened to you again! I was so hoping you would be able to finish your planned trips before your next treatments. Take care my friend and build your strength before you start again.

    God Bless you, dear lady.  I am sorry for the battles you have but praise the Lord you have the vigor and strength to fight.  Just rest and tomorrow will bring you the sunshine.

    Oh, LouAnn, that surely sucks.  As you said, at least you did not have to have surgery, but that's scant comfort.  Good that you are home resting and building up your strength.  Big hugs to you.
