My radiation journey - Week 7

I paint, so I'm thinking of
I paint, so I'm thinking of turning my mask into an art piece. Might mount it on canvas. I can't wait to be done. Sores on lips and inner lip, cheek and tongue. They seem to be popping up daily. Half my tongue is being treated though they didn't show signs of cancer and had clean margins, so I'm kinda able to swallow solids that are soft. No idea how the end of 5th week (one more treatment Tuesday) and then on to the 6th week will be. I've been gargling all the time with glutamine. Seems to help throat. My neck and jaw area are very burnt and painful right now. Did they double any of your treatments? I go in twice next thursday and Friday for rads, so that makes six days instead of eight more days. Not sure if that's a good thing.
You honestly helped me a lot by your posts. Let's hope we never have to do this again!
