camping
Hi Sarah. Despite not being on a bike, it was a great trip. I got to see many old biker friends that I see only at these events. It's another culture. Like this internet relationship we all have. The crowd is adult, no children, average about 50 y.o. You can make friends with anyone. Plenty of beer and good music. And the camping weather was awesome. The only thing on my bucket list is to make it again next year.

Hey Guys!!
Hey Guys!!
Sorry that I haven't been around much. It has been a whirlwind. We have been staying at our summer place with no wifi. I have still been working, so driving back and forth has added to my day, not to mention finishing up details with my job - and as most of you are aware, I am retiring....and my last day of work is tomorrow!!
I didn't want a big send off or any kind of party, except with a select group of people....but that had morphed into several little parties. Very nice. But I wanted to share with you the best part of my goodbyes....my father loved butterflies, so when I see butterflies of any sort, I immediately think of him. I even have a tattoo and a butterfly is part of it (my tattoo represents the men in my life....my sons, my husband and my dad). When I arrived at my school office on the last day of school (with kids) I burst into tears at the sight of my office. Students had made their own butterflies....some with sweet messages....and posted them all over my walls. And everyone was wearing a butterfly! Some were even covered in butterflies! It was such a touching moment for me. A lovely memory.
So now back to you, my dear friends. I haven't caught up on the reading yet...but will tonight and tomorrow. I hope you are all well and coping with the challenges that life has given you. I know with this group, the load is always lightened!
Big hugs,
Jojo
