Using Avastin and cannabis oil together?

I'm wondering if the treatment drug Avastin can be used at the same time as cannabis oil? My friend is about to start treatment with avastin and I would like her to start using cannabis oil as well because of all the positive results I have read about using cannabis oil. I just want to be sure that it is safe to use both at the same time and that the cannabis oil will not interfere with the Avastin. Please advise if anyone has used these at the same time or knows if it is safe to do so. My friend's ovarian cancer has spread and the chemo treatments were not effective so this Avastin is our plan B.

    Kbeulah,

    It is wonderful that you are supporting your friend.  Your question, however, should be answered by an integrative practitioner who has been trained in oncology.  Different integrative therapies are appropriate for different cancer drugs.  You certainly don't want to interfere with her conventional treatment.  If she were to consult with a naturopath or integrative oncologist, they could better answer your question and offer you friend a number of things that would support her.
