Ovarian cyst post breast cancer

I found out I have an ovarian cyst and I am feeling quite nervous. I finished treatment for breast cancer in May of 2015. The dr. Wants to watch it and recheck it in 3 months. Since I have had breast cancer and I am post menopausal (thank you chemo), I feel like it would be a good idea to remove it. Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks for your advice.

    Cysts

I've had ovarian cysts for years. Long before my cancer dx. Every year I get a pelvic sonogram to see if they've changed size or shape and so far, they haven't. I also have cysts on my thyroid and I get a sonogram to track them as well.  They are just there, unchanging.  They don't necessarily mean anything.  Friday, 6/17 I'll be having a scan to check on some nodules they found in my lung when they did my PET scan for bc. I'm hoping they don't mean anything too.

    same here

I've had ovarian cysts forever. I am pre-menopausal though. I suggest you check up on it in 6 months or whaever the doctor recomends. I wouldn't be too worried with a cyst though, especially if there are no changes. Hang in there!
