Hello friends, Can anyone tell me if you're on Prolia for bone stability? My oncologist suggested I start first shot in 2 weeks, 2x per year. I just had my first mammo since being diagnosed last June with stage 1 IDC, no lymphs involved 2.1cm. w/lumpectomy, 6 rounds of chemo/herceptin & 20 rounds of radiation. Still on Herceptin until 8/2. Aremidex for at least 5 years, maybe more. I told him, we'll cross that bridge when we get there since I have 4.5 years left. Hopefully, they'll come up with something better by then.
My left breast has some mole like lesions that look like small chocolate chips, I'm guessing from the radiation? It's also sensitive since I had a hematoma about 2 weeks after surgery that didn't help at all along with fluid retention. All we want to do is feel better. Thanks for any input, much appreciated.
