I'm dancing with NED!
Hi everyone,
Had my CT scan last week and saw the gyn oncologist yesterday. Extremely happy to say that after diagnosis of Stage 1A carcinosarcoma AND papillary serous, grade 3 uterine cancer and treatment (radical hysterectomy, 6 rounds of chemo, and brachytherapy) I am officially in remission/NED. Yay !!!!!!!!
The support and information on this board has greatly contribued to making it here! THANK YOU ALL! To everyone who is new here and only recently received a diagnosis please know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Best news ever
Doesn't it seem so unreal, we are so focused in getting treatment to beat this beast, then when we stop and the doctor tells us we are NED, we feel lost and elated at the same time. Your NED is backed up with scans, so you can be sure of the fact! Yay for you. Hugs Nancy

Hi Sandy,
Hi Sandy,
Have to admit I selfishly relished your news as that is my diagnosis as well. But aside from my own self serving enjoyment, I do so much applaud you and hope you dance forever. Now, you can get a mani pedi.. and not worry about your cuticles!
