You sound like you're feeling just like I was 6 years ago. I was in the hospital for 6 days because I didn't have a return of bowel function. I think the awful hospital food was at least partly to blame for that. It was really inedible. I also was in terrible pain, but I did have stage IVb cancer and had my gallbladder and appendix out at the same time for other reasons. I developed a UTI and didn't get any sleep from the pain of my extensive surgery and that. When I came home, I tried taking melatonin to help me sleep. Instead, I got horrible nightmares of seeing someone else die right in front of me. People kept sending me flowers and I had an allergic reaction to them, sneezing so hard that I hurt my incisions. It was a hell of a time and I don't ever want to go through it again. I hope you heal as quickly as possible. It's good to see that you're back on the discussion board. You were seriously missed.

To all of you ladies, thank you for the uplifting messages. I will write when I'm feeling better. Suffered a bout of dehydration and had to return to the hospital and now dealing with god awful constipation. Can't muster the energy to post in details the drama but you know I will. May the creator be with you. Sending NED blessings to all. I think about you all daily and I am hugging. Can't wait to feel well So we can chat and laugh as usual. Moli.

i had an angiogram last Tuesday and it showed my arteries were clear so it was a pumping malfunction. My heart is pumping at 45% instead of the 60% that is normal. I have been even more fatiguEd that I usually am. They took me off of 2 of the medications that the ER put me on so that is starting to help a little. My Onc gave me a 5 week vacation from chemo to heal. No news yet on what we are going to try next. My Onc is trying to get me on Opdivo. I don't know if he will, have any luck but I am glad he was willing to try.
Hugs and prayers to all of you, Lou Ann

Moli you had us all worried! So sorry to hear about the set back. I know dehydration is a constant worry after surgery/chemo. i have a chronic problem with constipation( which is greatly aggrevated by dehydration!) and I've found that Linzess works very well. You need a prescription for it so ask your doctor. I know you're still feeling pretty awful and weak but I hope you can check in once a week or so. We want to be sure you're OK! Love and hugs, Sandy

Oh LouAnn, you have really been thru the mill! I really hope you can get on Opdivo. Chemo takes such a big toll on our bodies and you have endured much more than most of us. It sounds like some rest and a change of meds may be just what you need. You need to renew your strength and energy for the fight ahead!
I was listening to NPR a couple of weeks ago and they were interviewing a woman who beat stage 4 melanoma with immunotherapy. She is now 5 years NED. I have read about immunotherapy being used for several differ cancers including ovarian but not uterine. Maybe there are some trials going on? Using our own bodies to fight cancer sounds so exciting!
I hope you start feeling better soon. Love and hugs, Sandy
