Need some help
i recently had an abnormal mammo and ultrasound. I have a lump in my left breast and tomorrow I have a consultation to get a biopsy. This morning I have starting swelling , like a knot, right straight below my color bone. Has anyone else experienced this? It aches, it burns, my breast aches and burns. im so stressed because I don't know what's going on. It's going to take forever to get my biopsy.

            Take a deep breath
Hi Beverly47, I did not experience any swelling or aches or burns when I discovered by lump in my breast but everyone is different. I would mention it to the next Dr you visit with and see what they say. And yes sometimes it feels like things take forever to get scheduled but just take a deep breath and don't get too upset yet......may be something not related to cancer. I know it's hard but try to keep a positive outlook and breath...... Good luck!!

            Aching & burning?
I'm curious to know how your test went as well. My "lumps" (there were two) couldn't be felt, but I never would have connected aching & burning with a tumor. Obviously, I'm no doctor. I do remember being incredibly stressed while waiting for the diagnostic tests. When I finally got the word, it was a relief; I was grounded again. I hope your word is better than mine.
