Mantle Cell

I finished 6 R-Chop treatments mid March.  A month later did bone marrow biopsy, pet/ct, colonoscopy and endoscopy.  Got results yesterday.  Complete Response, No Evidence of Disease.  Nothing, all clear.  Start Rituxan Therapy on Monday.

    Rocquie,

    Rocquie,

Thank you, I was stage 4, enlarged spleen and liver.  High WBC count, low platelets, high LDH and never thought I would get the results I just received.  R Chop was tough but you just have to keep going.  I'm feeling great right now and back to my normal self.

    Hi John

My husband also has MCL.  You can click on our picture and get our story.  There is a lot of research going on for MCL with some very dedicated doctors.  Bill was dxd July "11, relapsed 4/14 and is  now in remission again.  We never lose hope.  There are many good things going on, so stay positive and write anytime.  We are always here,

    Bill is in relapse again?

    ??

My understand is that Bill is in a sort of holding pattern on maintenance, but that the disease of late does not show progression.

But I may be wrong, and also hope Becky clarifies. Apology in advance for any possible misstatements

    no no no my mistake

Bill is in remission, too bad I am in Alzheimers EmbarassedFoot in Mouth.  I just typed in the wrong word.  Thank you for your support though and keeping me on my toes.  And yes Max, that is exactly where we are.  I hope I didn't confuse you John.

    Thinking of all of you,

    Becky & Bill

PS   I was still able to edit so I changed relapse to remmission. Tongue Out

    MCL 2016

Thank you for sharing your good news! Bill and Becky I have enjoyed reading your stories on line and appreciate how honest yet positive you are.  I'm a 52 yo female and was diagnosed w/ MCL 2.2.2016.  I am undergoing R-CHOP & R- DHAP chemo every 3-4 wks and then plan on a SCT this summer.  Per last scan I am in remission, but have two more rounds of chemo to go before I get repeat bone marrow biopsy, PET scan etc.  I am going to a lecture put on by the Lymphoma Society tomorrow night and will post anything learned that is new & that I think will be of interest to MCL pts.
