Fear of the unknown
Hi all, my mum is now facing her third surgery to remove secondary brain tumours. She is terrified of dying - how it will happen, what is on the other side etc. Anyone have any suggestions on how to help her face this possibility and try to come to terms with it? Thank you

Your mom
I am assuming your mother does not have a faith belief? Does she have a belief in God?
If not, perhaps a friend who does or a local pastor could visit. If she is in hospital, the chaplain is skilled in answering just such questions.
Just recently the Discovery Channel had a series on this you might want to share with your mom.
I am a Protestant so I would provide a Bible but you know more where your mom's thoughts are.
Have lifted a prayer for you and your mom.

Thank you noellesmom for your prayer and other suggestions. Mum isn't really a particular religion/faith which makes it a little difficult! I'll look up the series and suggest we watch it together, could be good for her!
