Vaginal discharge
Hi, I'm new here, I'm 71 years old and rarely see a doctor. But lately I've been having an odd vaginal discharge, yellow/orange/brownish. It's thick and mucousy like a cream consistency.
I no longer have a uterus, cervix, or ovaries. I have severe vaginal atrophy and am taking a natural estrogen cream that helps somewhat. However this discharge started even before I started taking the cream. I also have interstitial cystitis.
Can anyone share with me if the discharge sounds familiar to having vaginal cancer? It comes out every 3 days or so.
Thank you! Martha

Martha, as babe said, the best thing to do is get yourself checked out. Try not to worry about it and make an appointment with a gynecologist who wants to FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON. Please come back and let us know what the doctor says.

Hi Martha! I had stage 4a vaginal cancer, dx in 2011. I had a light color bleeding, not like what your having. I'd have it checked just to make sure.

Thanks, Babe. After I douched with colloidal silver, it went away! But with all the prodding I did keeping an eye on it, I discovered a lump in my vagina and am having that looked at on Monday. I think it's part of the vaginal rugae and it's towards the opening, right beyond the pubic bone.

Babe12, what was the situation regarding the vaginal cancer you had? Do you have a cervix? And how was it treated?
I see someone today and will be back.
Thanks.
