Robot assisted hysterectomy up close!

i was greatly relieved to watch a robot assisted hysterectomy on you tube. This excellent and professional team from Cedar Rapids TV station and hospital collaborated to offer information and video of hysterectomy using the diVinci robot. I'm look at that surgery next week. This has taken the mystery out of the procedure. If interested, check out you tube for:

I agree
My doctor suggested I watch a video on robot surgery. On the day of my surgery, I wasn't afraid because I knew what the surgery would be. It's very interesting that there is minimal to no blood during the procedure. I'm glad your mind is calmed, and hope that everything goes well for you from this day forward. Hugs Nancy

LOL - I'm so squeamish I can't even look at my surgery scars. It was soooo hard when I had to pack my port site wound. Even now that it's healed, I can't look at it. I think I'll just stay in the dark about that surgery -

I agree Eldri! Ignorance was bliss for me. I guess I've had enough surgeries that I didn't worry how it was being done. I didn't want the gory details.

Hey Soup - are you taking a nap?? I love your new picture but I had to turn my monitor sideways to see it - LOLOLOL!!!
We squimish ladies have to stick together!! My best friend's husband is a trama surgeon who works in a local emergency room. We spend our holiday dinners with them but I told my husband I don't know how much longer I can take it. There he (her husband) is, carving up a beautiful piece of rare prime rib all the while telling us how he was sewing some guy's head back on and his shoes were filling up with blood.....OMG "I'll pass on the prime rib and just have a salad please." LOL
