I am almost 2 months out from my last Folfox treatment.  I had 10.  My neuropathy is getting worse and worse.  Anyone found anything that seems to work?

Thanks,

Summer

    For what it's worth......

I've used it, and continue to use it for any ailments (other than Neuropathy).
    (never did chemo; no neuropathy)

    It is worth looking into!!

Best hope for your better health!

    Neuropathy was annoying and

Neuropathy was annoying and miserable, but about 1 1/2 years after Folfox [12 treatments], it was largely gone. Oddly, because I have the dystrophy [CMT], my hands and feet normally have what they call "glove stocking effect", a desensitivation [is that a word?], I may have been less affected then normal folks.........................................Dave

    Getting worse - Getting better

My Neauropathy also got worse after treatment, and stayed bad for about two years, and now it is getting better. Not gone completely, but definitely better. I think its about as better as its going to get.

As for what to do, I didn't have pain with my Neuropathy, it was just major numb. I would massage my feet, and when in the bath and shower I would use the hardest most powerful massage dial on my hand held shower head.

So glad you are out of treatment. Hang in their, and your Neuropathy will turn a corner and start getting better.

    Acupuncture helped

I had neuropathy all the way to my knees and my hands were numb to my wrists by the 9th session of chemo. I had 38 sessions of acupunture starting around the 10th chemo session. Acupunture kept it from getting worse through my last sessions. By the end of my 38 sessions of acupunture my hands were nearly back to normal with the exception of just the tips of my fingers and I had the feeling back in my legs and feet with the exception of the tips of my toes and a bit on the balls of my feet. I have discovered as long as I walk every day and wear good fitting shoes it is quite manageable. Give acupuncture a try. My insurance doesn't usually cover it but my oncologist referred me and they ended up paying for 28 if the sessions. I fully believe acupuncture was the key for me. Hope you find relief.

    Blessings
