Final day of radiation treatment
Yahoo. So happy this day has finally arrived. Finishing radiation treatment today (15 + 5 boosts) and whilst I'm feeling emotional, I also feel like I've come through this incredibly dark tunnel and can see the light at last. Cannot wait to get on with my life now. This forum has been incredibly helpful and supportive for me and is a constant reminder that I'm not on my own on this journey. Each and every one of you are in my thoughts.

I understand the emotional part, I sobbed when it was all done, it was just such a relief. Welcome to the other side of treatment. It'll feel really strange for awhile, not having all those doctor appointments to go to.
Thankyou Puffin. You have been a great help and support to me from day one. Happy to be on the other side of treatment now!

I felt like that when I was going through chemo. But then I blinked, and it was over. I blinked again, and it's been 18 weeks as of today! I've been done longer than I was in it!
This too shall pass.
