I thought I would share something from another forum. Someone has recently joined or at least recently started posting. She is 26 years out of treatment!!!!!! Not without her problems due to treatment, but 26 years!!!!!

    Thank you so much for posting this!  How wonderful it is to hear that someone is a 26-year survivor!  I am coming up on 7.5 years and hearing this gives me a lot of encouragement.  I would be curious to know what type of post-treatment issues this person is dealing with.

    Wow!

    Thanks so much for sharing this.  It will be a nice fact to recall on those days when I brood about what this has done to my life expectancy!  Maybe I will get to see my grandchildren off to the prom after all!
