Technology and a laugh
Nothing important, but I found this to be so funny . My husband gave be a FitBIt HR for Christmas so I could track my heart rate. I took it off on Tuesday to cbarge it and left it off because I had to got in for an MRI. On my I pad I found a message from my FitBit that it was chargers and that it missed me. Later it sent another message that it wanted to go for a walk. All I could think was that the little purple thing loved me. Lou Ann

That's funny!
I can't imagine how someone creative keeps coming up with these cute ideas. Of course Fitbit HR is great, but to add personality too! My sister is alone now, this Christmas she got an amazon Echo. She said it talks to her often, she asks it all kinds of questions and it keeps her company. Even reads to her. Isn't technology great, well sort of except for auto correct.

I love it!! Our son bought
I love it!! Our son bought his fiancee one for her birthday and he programmed it to tell her he loves her every so often.
Just think, twenty years ago, there really was no internet. I would have been sitting alone in cold Green Bay, Wisconsin looking out the window wondering what was going to happen to me. Now, I have tons of friends going through the same thing as me telling me what to expect or how to take care of myself - it's a modern miracle!!

That is really funny! Thanks for sharing it.
My sister wants to get me one for my birthday. I sent her a gift card for Christmas and she bought one for herself and loves it.
How are you doing anyway?

Except for the pain in my righ pelvis and hip, I am doing pretty good. had a MRI last Tuesday and will get the results on Monday. I will start a new chemo on Monday , too. Topotecan. I still don't know a lot about it. But I will get it for 5 days over an hr (plus time for the premeds.) and then 2 weeks off. Hoping that the CT scan and MRI gives some clue as to why my back is hurting so much. Lou Ann

Love the Fitbit story. I always had a love/hate relationship with mine. I couldn't ever get it to work consistently - it was very flaky. I got an Apple iWatch for Christmas and love it little so far.
I'll be keeping you in my thougths and prayers for good results on the MRI and the new chemo!
