Six month CT scan is NED
i am thrilled to find out my six month scan is clear. I am also confused by GFR which is 48 and creatinine which is 1.2. All the info I have read says that is stage 3 chronic kidney disease. Is this correct? If so is there anything I can do to make this better? My GFR was normal before nephrectomy.

Good news on the scan. Unfortunately members of our club often have a lower GFR than our 2 kidney brothers and sisters. Like you I also have Stage III CKD. While my gFR is similarto yours, the concern is that you are much younger and absent all other factors your GFR goes down as you grow older, I would definately see a Nephrologist to address your Kidney function numbers.

I'm very happy for you, congratulations, seeing a nephrologist is a good suggestion, meanwhile having a low sudium, low protein diet is good for your remaied kidney + drinking loads of water.
