Is anyone taking Votrient/pazopanib for maintenance?

in Ovarian Cancer #1

Hi everyone! 

I'm 47 and was diagnosed with Stage lVB Ovarian back in June 2015 and had the debulking surgery on June 23rd. I started weekly chemo on July 14th. It was Carbo w/ Taxol one week, then just Taxol the next 2 weeks. I was on that treatment for 18 weeks. I did great on the chemo and felt good most of the time.  I had my first CT scan and CA-125 checked on Dec 8th, and there was no sign of disease and my CA-125 was still low at 10, so I'm doing great right now. 

My doctor wants to start me on maintenance with Votrient and I'm scared about the side effects. She doesn't want me to feel pressured to take it, but feels since my cancer was so advanced,  there is a high risk of reoccurence and this drug could help deter cancer growth.

I was just wondering if anyone with OC has had any experience with this?  I've seen it talked about with other cancers, but not Ovarian.

    I took my first round of pills last night.  I'm taking 800 MG. I can post updates about how I'm doing in case someone comes here looking for someone going through the same thing. :)
