Folfox is working!!
Husband's scan results are in and treatments are working! Nothing shows up in the abdominal region or pelvic area. Mets are still in the lungs but have shrunk by half! Largest one 7mm and then 6mm ect. Yea!! He just finished his 9th round.

Great News!
I know it must be a relief to know that the Folfox plus Avastin have done what they were supposed to do and that the neuropathy, mouth sores and the other side effects he suffered weren't for nothing. I hope all his treatments do as well and with fewer side-effects.

Dave, Unfortunately my husband will have to have chemo the rest of his life. Onc. said he will stay on folfox/with avastin until it quits working and then go to something else. Chemo is the only thing that is keeping ahead of the 'game of cancer'. At least this is the plan right now, in a couple of years he said we could evaluate the chemo.
