Jan-2008 when I GOT THE call...contact a surgeon

I have to go in to the dr office to get results from Blood tests-but i was told over the phone Jan 2008  "it's not bad, but it's not good" call a surgeon-you have DCIS.

 

I was clueless, until I searched on line and the first word to come up was "CANCER".

 

fast forward-Lumpectcomy 2008- radiation-tamoxifin-hysterectomy , then 2012lumpectomy-happy to say it was only scar tissue this time!

off tamoxifen (about 2 yrs now)

 

All is good-I made it to annual mammos instead of 3 & 6mths...
