Thank you for sharing this!! I read a New Yorker review on the book, The Death of Cancer, and went out and got the book. It is written by the former head of the NCI who said the hardest part of research was getting FDA approval.
It is sad that it took his wife dying for him to see it. Hopefully he will feel compelled to help move new drugs along that may help all the warriors today and tomorrow.
