Upcoming surgery
Hi. I am new here. My husband was diagnosed Sept. 2015. After all his diagnostics and after 5 chemos (taxol & cisplatin), and 23 radiation treatments, he is scheduled for surgery on Jan 26, 2016. He also has to have another scope, ct's, erc. Again to see if there is change after treatment? He is T 3 N 2 . I asked doc which kind of incisions. Did not think to ask name of procedure. He said incision on left side of chest and at neck. I am very worried. Everthing I read says ec is 30/30/30. Survival rate. I quit reading for a while but started again. Has anyone had surgery at Cleveland Clinic for ec?
