I haven't posted in a while but thought I'd give an update. I had a unilateral modified radical mastectomy two weeks ago and recovery is going well. The path report came back last week, and there was no remaining cancer. A complete response! I still have to do radiation as a preventative measure, but I'm cured!

    Thank you

    Thank you all!

I need to be able to lift my hand over my head before starting rads. I have an appointment January 14 for simulation, so I need to be good to go by then.

    Great news!

So you had a complete response to chemotherapy!  That is great news!  I had some residual disease in breast after it was removed.  That was 5+ years ago and going strong!  Bless you, Sharon
