4 months checkup and my dream
Today, I had a visit with my Hematologist/Oncologist for the first time in four months. Of course I had been fretting about it for several days. But everything was fine (yay!). My blood counts were good and his very thorough physical examination was good. He asked a million questions and in the end was satisfied that all was well. At the very end of the visit, he asked if I had any questions. I said no, but I did want to tell him about a dream I had. . .
In the dream, I had a visit with him in which he was not happy about my blood test results. He told me I would need a bone marrow biopsy. I told him that was fine but I was not prepared for it today. He said that was good because he was too tired to do it anyway. He laid down on the exam table and fell asleep. I covered him with a blanket, turned off the light, and told him I would lock the door on my way out.
My doctor laughed and laughed when I told him that.
He also assured me that I would not be needing another bone marrow biopsy.
I am so thankful for my wonderful and caring Doctor. I am thankful for my husband, who was with me at this appointment.
In hope and peace,
Rocquie

I didn't realize this was from an older post and when I read your post this morning, I had completely forgotten about the dream etc. (although it sounded a little familiar). Just wanted you to know you gave me another great laugh today!
Thinking of you,

I'm glad to have given you another laugh!
Amazingly, another 4 months have gone by since this post and I have another checkup next week. I'm hoping it goes as well as the last one.
Did you see my post from a couple of weeks ago about Kyle and Michelle? As you know, I had been very concerned about Kyle. When I found out how well he was doing, it put a huge smile on my face.
Hugs,
Rocquie
