I am two year out from diagnosis.  Had radiation and chemo.  Had suspicious lymph nodes, so surgeon did core needle biposy.  It has been 10 days since the biposy and the skin in my armpit is burning like crazy, is painful to the touch of a shirt or bra.  There is also pain in my armpit when I use my arm.  Anybody had this and anybody know of anything to relieve the pain?

sounds like you may want to contact your surgeon

as quickly as possible.   Irritation of some sort, need to have this check out so to ensure there is nothing more brewing under your skin.

    Best of luck.

    Call your surgeon.

Agree w/VICKISAM.  But also make sure when they took the node, they didn't stitch up a nerve. Wish you the best.
