Good to hear!
We are a strange group, aren't we! The things we are happy about! Second treatment was easier. I don't know if it is because we know what to expect this time and already have some tricks up our sleeves. Amifostine let my body know it wasn't going to happen again, I am glad they will not wait and see what will happen. I didn't have chemo time number 1 and 2 so I have no info to share. You are a fighter, you have your team ready, you have a plan. Go, Phranie, Go!

Get a second opinion on radiation
My husband had radiation a second time in basically the same spot within a two year period. It can be done and the only problem he had were skin burns on the new skin where he had surgery to remove his larynx. What they were concerned about most was the caridoid(?) artery but they kept the radiation away from it. He had 35 rounds of radiation each time.
So glad that you got a good report. Wishing you the best -- Sharon

Whew!
I am so glad you got the all clear on that! I'm sorry you have to do treatments again, but you'll kick butt this time too!

Limophrannie51 said:Why not a Limo!!
I think Joe would appreciated a Limo....and Laralyn and I can keep the bar stocked with Coke, 7-Up, and Boost....LOL. I'm pretty happy, considering.....that little voice on my shoulder niggles me here and there, and trys to get a conversation going about how I'm not out of the woods yet....but I have been flicking her off, and telling her to take a hike.
I'm going to do what I can to boost my immune system, too.....I think Squamous Cell has taken enough rides in this body (2 skin cancers and 2 throat cancers)....enough is enough.
p
I've got the hat, a black suit and, I just saw for the first time ever, some company used a Porsche Cayanne as a Limo front. So, we're good to go.
Joe
