Does Alternative Medicine help treat Cancer?
Hello everyone,
My mom is at her end of life stage with pancreatic cancer, she's 62 years old and was diagnosted May 2012. It's a rough time for everyone and she's at a point where she is ready to let go. Through her ordeal I found it touching how much a positive mindset helped her prolong not only her life, but its quality. My question to everyone is: how has alternative medicine helped you or the ones you love as cancer treatment?
Here's the background to her cancer treatment:
My mom is currently stage 4 inoperable pancreatic cancer displaying symptoms of end of life. She was diagnosed May 2012 after she was unable to eat and felt bad stomach cramps. Luckily it was caught quickly, but she was told that pancreatic cancer patients had about 2 years. She was devastated and at the beginning family members supposrted her but treated her like she was dead and at that point, she decided to keep that negativity away and to stay positive.
Mom tried all kinds of treatments, initially she started the traditional route but that just destroyed her and wore her down, then she decided to try alternative medicine. Mom darastically changed her diet to include more alkaline food, and walked as much as she could until she just couldn't anymore.
Now it's been since April since mom completely stopped all treatments but we've found that staying positive has been the number one weapon against cancer, along with a strong Faith. She's at a point now that she's finally given up, letting go and getting ready to ride her chariot to heaven. It's amazing how long she's lived, 49 months since her diagnosis and her postive mindset has kept her alive for such a long time.
Please share your thoughts/personal journey with alternative medicine I'd love to hear,
Thank you,
Krystle
