Trying to prepare for tomorrow. Those of you who had a D&C, what was recovery like? Expected pain and recovery time? When resumed normal diet and activitues?
I am still overwhelmed that i faced the giant and I'm still here. It was close for about 15minutes and i was almost a runner

You did not run and you are still here! Congrats on facing your fears. Just think, you are a little bit stronger today than you were two days ago.

Post D&C question
Ok... Its 5 days post hysterscopy and D&C. I had almost no bleedng the first 3 days. I have had a slow steady amount since the 3rd day. Here's my question...since the bleeding started, so has a constant pain (feels like someone kicked me in the stomach) around the belly button area, even without pushing on the area, plus tenderness that's persistent and getting worse daily in my sides and back where my waist is. Does this sound familiar to you guys who have had this procedure?

Please call your doctor. Don't take any chances.
I did have some bleeding on day 4 post the D&C but I never had any pain. And, I believe I bled due to physical activity that I wasn't supposed to do.
Love and Hugs,
Cindi

Cindi is right! Call your doctor, this is not normal. It's been over two years since I had my D&C but I do remember that I had very little bleeding and no pain after the first day or two. Maybe it's nothing but so much better to be safe than sorry. Sandy
