Natural Reconstruction jitters
so my first post. I'm under 40 with two very young children and was diagnosed w invasive breast cancer, hormone +. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've already gone through: chemo (8 weeks AC, 12 taxol), double mastectomy w lymph node removal, and 25 days radiation. still can't believe that.
so I have always planned to do natural reconstruction based on advice from my gal support groupies over here, with a wonderful surgeon. I have expanders in now, waiting to be you know, less radiated! Ha. For skin to heal back, not that it's bad at all (go coconut oil!) now I'm starting to get nervous about four months from now, this huge awful painful surgery! (But I'm so young I don't want to have to keep going back for implants and having it hanging over my head). Anyone chosen natural that can offer encouragement?
be well my new friends
