My first NED!
Hello everyone,
I had my first 6-month follow-up visit at MDAnderson for my stage IIIA RCC after a left radical nephrectomy last May. Results of my labs, CT abdomen and chest x-ray revealed no evidence of disease. My heart is about to burst with joy and gratitude.
I've been busy helping with care of my little grandkids, ages 4, 18 months and my new little namesake 7 weeks old, so don't get to check on you all as often as I would like.
I do keep you all in my prayers. Best wishes to all.

Congradulations, but I do think you should have named thatt 7 week old grandchild something other than granny.

You got me! Actually, her name is Chloe Dahlia, and my name is Dahlia. She was born on my birthday, Sept 18th. (LOL)

Here is to many, many more! Enjoy the grandchildren!
I hope we all continue to have Uncle NED visit on a regular basis.
Nana, enjoy those grandkids. Besides the three little ones I have mentioned, I have 7 more ranging from age 30 to age 15, for a total of 10 grandkids. I'm one proud grandma. The oldest is a physician, 3 teachers, one college senior and one in high school. Please forgive me if I've mentioned this before. You know how grandparents are.
God bless us all.

Awesome news!
TX Granny,
So many great things happening with this post! I'm just learning the joys (and trials) of the little ones myself haha. But anytime Uncle NED comes to visit it is a welcome house guest. Many more to come!
