Good news

Today we went to radiation as usual, we found out that the treatment was most likely working and that the tumor was melting.

Cuculigata, been missing you and the other ladies, too, but

I have been busy not thinking about cancer for a bit.  Just spent a very long weekend at the beach with two of my very best friends, an annual trip that I refused to postpone or cancel.  Where we were had spotty internet/cell service, an easy way to be out of the loop. Spent hours walking on the beach, eating wonderful (and healthy!) meals, and catching up.  I had seen neither of these women since my diagnosis in June, so it was good for them to see me handling chemo okay, and good for me to be able to continue the tradition. Before that, some work, a sail on S.F. Bay, and massive weed-whacking and planting in my garden.  Now company's gone, and I am back to the new normal.  Catching up on posts from the last week or so and gearing up for chemo #4 on Friday.  Can't wait until, like you, I can say that part is over!

melwithbooks and Editgrl, we celebrate with you!

Good news is always good for the soul- sort of like eating chicken soup!   Glad to hear that the radiation is working melwith  books and that you had a great time with your BFF on your trip.  I always feel renewed when I take a trip.  My emotional strength increases and I return home feeling like I will and am kicking CA's butt!

    Warm Wishes,

    Cathy
