The Truth About Cancer
http://thetruthaboutcancer.com/
There is a documentary series starting this Tuesday evening at 9pm called The Truth About Cancer. I am anxious to watch it and learn any alternative ways to help treat my cancer along with the conventional methods I have already used. Check the website above for information. There is a link at the top on the right side of the web page to register to watch. I think we all owe it to ourselves to educate ourselves as much as possible regarding our situation. For those of you that watch it, maybe we can meet back here on the message board to share opinions and ideas about the series.

The Truth About Cancer
I'll be watching. Looks like many amazing alternative protocols will be talked about and I'm open to other possibilities. I just found out I have a "secondary cancer" caused by all of the radiation I had. The treatment? More radiation. I'm ready to learn about alternatives. Yes, let's discuss what we learn.

I am so sorry you are having to deal with this and I'm so glad you are going to watch it. I can't believe they are recommending more radiation!!!! I am going to try & get my family to watch it as well because IF my cancer is still there or if it returns, I want them to understand why I may reject more radiation and chemo. I look forward to sharing thoughts with you on this. Have you read Radical Remission?

I'll order it on Amazon. Measnwhile, the first episode of The Truth about Cancer was amazing. I'm attempting to be objective here, the one aspect I could find to criticize was that it could possibly have been presented in one hour instead of two, but then, I can't imagine which bits one would edit out. Also, perhaps that came to mind because I was watching late at night. The part about the pharmaceutical interest in the holocaust was chilling.

The current plan is to see if it increases, if not, I can live with this. The Dr. will do addtional testing in a few months and in the meantime, use level of discomfort as a guide.

I must admit..I had a little trouble watching the first episode. Hearing about the damage the chemo has probably done to my body was a little depressing. I finished watching yesterday and was so glad I did because after the initial part about chemo, it was very informative and kind of hopeful. It really is frightening, though, how much power Big Pharma has in this country. It's very hard to understand why we don't have the freedom to choose different methods or at least to combine them with conventional methods of treating cancer. I am so glad your dr is taking the wait & watch approach. Maybe you can try some of the alternative methods in the meantime and just see if they help. After I finished Radical Remission(let me know what you think about it) I ordered a book called Cancer Free by Bill Henderson. I am trying some of the methods outlined in his book. I am trying everything I can because I have a feeling that my cancer is back. I have an appt at Wake Forest next week. I suddenly started feeling pressure and pain and now there is a suspicious looking area that looks alot like the cancer that was there before. I am only four months out from treatment so I'm not sure if it's damage from the radiation but, needless to say, I'm pretty concerned.
