Radiation takes how long?

Hello all you amazing women,
Im so thankful you are here. My mom just finished 6 rounds of carbo/taxol and needs radiation. It looks like most of the women on this board get around 25 treatments of external beam pelvic radiation. How long between each of these treatments? Is it one per day, one per week?
She would like to plan a little vacation to celebrate the completion of all this treatment.
