AROMASIN AND UPPER LEG PAIN

I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST CANCER IN APRIL OF 2015. I'VE BEEN ON AROMASIN FOR TWO MONTHS. I STARTED HAVING SHARP STABBING PAIN IN THE JOINT OR BEND IN MY UPPER RIGHT LEG.  Almost the groin but not.  Is this side effects.  I don't go see my Dr for a couple of weeks and I'm wondering.  The pain is so sharp that it almost buckles my leg. Sorry, I'm not shouting.  The pain is sporadic.  Will it go away?

I was on Arimidex for 2 years

I was on Arimidex for 2 years until the pains and side effects were no longer tolerable. I was then switched to Aromasin which was worse and I quit in one month. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still having joint, feet and knee pain, although it seems to be getting better. I've had right knee (bend) pain for quite a while with both meds. There's also a bone pain I get in that leg too but it's sporactic.

I hope yours checks out ok.

    Thanks.  That's where it is

Thanks.  That's where it is at  In the bend of my leg. i was diagnosed with breast cancer in april, had bilateral mastectomy in may, then a full hysterectomy in july.  I have been sore and in pain in alot of places, throughout the year.  I thought it's the aromasin but I wasn't sure. The only symptoms I had until now has been the crazy hot flashes sweating insomnia. Which Is bad bad but no pain until about 4 days ago.  Man, I just started feeling better from all that stuff.

I am sorry to hear about your

I am sorry to hear about your troubles Carmen, but may I ask you Mrs. Bob do yhe doctors give you any kind of pain pills to take for this stuff? I was on Tamoxifen for almost 3 1/2 years and never had any major side effects, except severe hair loss.

    I recently started Cymbalta

I recently started Cymbalta and so far it is doing wonders for my aches and pains. They call the aches "arthralgias".
