It is always in the back of your mind, just hiding.
There is something that once you are told, you have it. Somewhere in the back of your mind the thought is always there. When they took my larynx, and the tumor was inside of it, I know it is all gone. But that thought, or is it, is always there hidding. Was that a lump I felt, or did I see a white spot on my tongue? I know they got it all and my odds of it returning are very slim. So was the odds of getting it in the first place. I did get it so it is always in the back of my mind, way back just ready to have the thought come out.
A few minuts after 9 am you will hear those wondedful words..............NED, and be great until the next scan. You will hear NED on that one as well, but you always think.
Denias you are always in my thoughts and prayers, and will get very good news.
