September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month
Get your colors for the different gynecological cancers going. Purple is for all cancer but it also states on the FWC.org that it is for all gynecological cancers. Peach is for Uterine Cancer. Teal is Ovarian. Cervical is Teal/White.
There is a lot of new information out there for women to make sure they know what the signs are.
The Foundation for Womens Cancer.org has a lot of information and they will be having their walk/run again in November in Wash D.C.

THANK YOU, Trish for posting
THANK YOU, Trish for posting this. I WILL BE IN DC!!! I have to say, sometimes it is cold in November is DC but I know there are some who can't be there. I have been there the past two years, and in addition to all the sisters we have lost, I know a good friend of mind is dying from cervical cancer and won't be there with me this year.
My team is dedicated to her. I am devastated by the recent losses. I have to do something to help to find a cure, and if that is raising money then that is it.
Hugs and prayers to all my warrior sisters out there. I am so sorry we have all had to meet because of this disease but I treasure each one of you as a gift.

I thank you for going to walk for all of us ladies. I know that I cannot go even though I am there in spirit. l also hate all the losses the last few years. I still participate in Relay for Life cancer walk and I sponser several luminaries bags for the people I have lost to cancer. My Mom who lost her battle to a soft tissue sarcoma back in 1992. Several ladies on this site too. I also give to several cancer charities through my job. Wish you and everyone better days ahead and finding a cure for all cancers but specially ladies cancer. Trish
