Yes, interesting
Article deals with people getting different cancers, mine have all been in my head, all scc. I have perineural involvement and I think those little buggars just keep running up an down my nerves until they find another place to rest. The only one that could not be biopsies was base of skull. That was #4 and was taken care of with Cyberknife. I haven't bothered getting mammograms or colonoscopies since my last diagnosis, terminal. It looks like there are a few more articles on NBC site about cancer and recurrance.

Id be very interested to know your story because I have perineural squamous cell cancer also. I had symptoms - facial paralysis which was mistaken for bells palsy. My Dr told me I have extensive spreading. I finished 33 radiation treatments 9 weeks ago. Did you have radiation therapy? Did you have IMRT radiation machine? How long after treatment did you have a recurrence? What treatment did you have for the recurrence? Was your cancer originally a skin cancer or a mouth cancer?
