AROMASIN & CA125?
Hello Everone:
Long-time member, but here's a quick recap:
2000 OVCA Stage 1C
2006 OVCA (not sure of stage)
2013 Breast cancer
Surgeries, treatment for all. Been well since 2014 after radiation for breast cancer. Here's my question: Have any of you experienced higher CA125 levels while on Armoasin/Examestane or any other estrogen inhibitor? Over an 18-month period my levels have been 17.3, 21.1, 13.5, 16.8, and last week 35. I'm familiar with the accceptable ranges. I'm just curious if the estrogen-inhibitor has anything to do with this? As of my last pelvic/abdominal/thoracic CT in 2014 and exam, all was clear. I am due for another CT this year, and doctor visit. Does anyone think I should be concerned? That's quite a jump, and it kind of spooked me. But, as always, I will remain calm and not stress - could be anything. One time I took Boniva and it shot up to 65! Went right back down again, though.
Thank you for your input. (((HUGS))) and prayers to you all.
