Butter/Ghee
Hola,
Has anyone here use Ghee for cooking? I want to add some oil to my diet, since last year my cholesterol was too low.

I am not familiar with Ghee, but I wanted to stop in and tell you how great you look in this picture!

I, too, love the new picture. Someday I'll have to put on one of me without the helmet.

ItHola Kathy and Conniesw,
It is so nice to hear from both of you! Thank you for the comment on the picture. I just changed it. My father, 85, came to visit this summer, and we went to a baseball game. He loved it!
I decided to change the picture, because the previous one was from a few months after I finished chemo 4 years ago. It was time for a change...
Stay healthy and in touch!

Ghee for cooking
I use Ghee all the time when I want to either melt butter or even in place of olive oils. It is very healthy for you and actually has a nice taste. I don't bake much so not sure how to use it in baking. You might find that it is used quite extensively in Paleo recipes
you just need to store it in a cool dry place.
hope you enjoy using it
Sharon
