Fathers who could care less about your condition!
Sadly,my twin brother was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma - a blood cancer & neither my father nor stepfather could seem to care less!!!:(.
Unfortunately,my mother passed away from lung cancer 2 1/2 years ago. It's been about 2 years since I saw my stepfather & about 2 1/2 years or more since I saw my father & NEVER hear from either.Neither of them invites us to visit either...though both live a long distance away, which doesn't help!
Lately,I have been going to a cancer caregivers support group which helps & is great.:)
..anyone else in this situation???
Thanks for reading.

Can't make people something they are not
you can't make people care. My husband has multiple myeloma and there was a time when he was going thru radiation after having lost use of his hip. He was in pain and i needed his family to help out with anything, even call or visit to show they care. Found out they really don't care about anyone except themselves. Not raised to be caring so I shouldn't of been surprized. Won't ask for help again. He is better now, still has cancer, but no pain.
