My husband lost his battle this morning.  He fought hard for 5 years.  I am so thankful that it was peaceful and he is now at peace.  Now the changes begin for me as I had him for 55 years for which I am thankful.

    Sharon, I'm so very sorry to hear this.  Like you said, he faught hard for many years.  Now he is at peace and in no pain.  I'm sorry your heart is in such pain and I pray that you will soon be able to find comfort in the memories you and he made over the past 55 years!

    Sharon i'm sorry to hear this.

    My condolences and so sorry. It is vere hard when you have been with them most all of your life. Try to have confort in knowing he is now at peace and no pain. Will always keep ypu in my thoughts and prayers.

    I am sorry to hear of the passing of your Husband. No words that I type here today will ease your pain, but hopefully as times passes so does the pain and only fond memories remain.

    So sorry

    i just joined and your post was the first one I saw.  I am so sorry for your loss.  My husband was diagnosed the beginning of April and is undergoing a clinical trial at UNC Hospital.  I hope that you are doing ok.
