Stage 3 Papillary Thyroid Cancer
Hi everyone,
I am newbie here. My father was diagnosed with stage 3 papillary thyroid cancer. He has just had his total thyroidectomy and neck dissecting last june 16. After then surgical biopsy has been done
Results below:
1. Papillary Carcinoma, poorly differentiated, left lobe (dimension 0.5 - 1cm)
2. Papillary Carcinoma, poorly differenyiated, right lobe (.5 - 1cm). Isthmus and Metastasis to Central Lymph node with Lymphovascular invasion.
3. Negative Tumor cell fibroabdispose tissue and two out of two lymph nodes
4. Papillary Carcinoma, Metastatic, One of three lymph nodes
hope you can tell me how severe is this and what can be the prognosis.
