I was recently diagnosed, had lunpectomy and founf out I have the her 2 gene.So the chemo that is being recommended messes with your left ventricle.Mine is 60 % blocked but I am under a drs.care and doing good.I also have m.s. and was told to discontinue my treatment for as long as I am under chemo.I am also going to taks a injection. So they are talking herception for my injection but I did some research on a dru, also on the list os contributing treatment, called cytoxin. The woman who was using it said it  was improving her m.s. I am not sure if it was being used for a cancer treatment but if it helped her m.s. should I mention it to my oncologist as a alternative to herception?

I always figure that if I

I always figure that if I have a question, I ask it -- rather than keep wondering OR wish I had asked.

    Cytoxin*

.......I had no idea that Cytoxin messed with your left ventricle.  Is that what you are saying?  I'm confused (as usual).   When I had my lumpectomy and then my chemo...I had Cytoxin plus Adriamysin and 5FU....... I have a little bit of a problem with my heart now but may have had this heart valve problem since birth so cant really blame it on the chemo.

OF COURSE mention all that you think of to your Oncologist....and I hope and pray that you have one that is half as good as mine was........the rascal retired last year and I'm winging it now with a new one...which I don't have to see again until Jan 2016  ** PRAISE GOD ***

Be sure to tell your Onc and please let us know what he/she says.   Sending you Prayers for Strength & Courage.......with Hugs and Love,   Glo
