Added A New Dance Partner
Greetngs everyone.
I saw my ENT today for the periodic exam. She did the usual poke, prod and scoping procedures. When she was done she told me everything looked great and handed me a collar pin. The pin marks the five year point from the end of treatment.
Then she told me that we could now view the cancer as cured.
Now I have another dance partner added to my dance card. In addition to my old partner NED, I've added the partner CURED.
It's been a long road to get to this day, but it was all worth it. A special thanks to all my old friends here who helped me through the fog of treatment and the slow pace of recovery, and a prayer for those old friends who couldn't be here to share this day.
Happy Dance!
