Children of Parent with EC

Hello my family! I say that because I was on this board almost 24/7 when my mom was diagnosed. I don't recognize many names. I have a question that I think I know from deep in the recesses of my mind. My question is what is the protocol for kids of parents who were diagnosed with EC. Is it hereditary? Is it something that now we are genetically prone to develop?

Why am I asking? Because I'm taking more tums than I think I ought to!

So, I'm curious what we biological children of EC patients should do as a preventative measure.

Thanks!

Ginny
