Thank you Laz & Helen
Not too long ago one of you started a thread or two about living with a colostomy bag. It was both funny and informative, and wonderful to be able to talk about the issues. Laz mentioned that he cleans himself out so he only has to deal with things every 4 days. That got me thinking since I was heading out for two weeks of travel and day long meetings, one of which I was the chair for. I couldn't exactly excuse myself every time I needed to adjust my bag. So I tried Laz's trick and it worked great! I was able to sit without fidgeting or having to leave the meetings, plus it made the plane trip easier.
I just wanted to thank you both and post this for others who may find themselves in a similar situation. Thanks, Traci

I'm seeing this 8 years later. Oh poop humor Traci, sometimes it's all we have. I now have a mother in diapers and grandchildren in diapers. And my son who is deployed left me a dog for six months. To this unpredictable, crazy and yet somehow still fun world, I describe my life these days as poop poop poopadoop. Lol I'm so glad you're here Traci! Navigating the after cancer is not easy, but I'm glad we're all here to do it.
