Anyone ever feel WORSE ???

in Colorectal Cancer #1

This is a weird one.. 2 outta 8 treatments they had to forego the OXI becuz platelets were below 70k.. Those two times I have felt WORSE.. bad stomach problems and bad foot neurothopy... Thought it was other way around.. Anyone ever get this??

    Hi. I had three folfox rounds without oxliplatin.  But for me, the rounds without oxaliplatin were more tolerable than the rounds with oxaliplatin.  Each round can be so different in regard to side effects, however.

    I did not have what you are experiencing but I was able to avoid the stomach issues with a drug that my doctor gavee that treaties both anxiety and nausea. Sadly I can't remember the name but I have it in an old post. It worked great. No nausea at all. The oxi killed my arm but once I got my port it was better. Feet and hands were covered with socks and gloves st all times. Pain in the heels still happens two years later. I'm used to it now.
