Surgery tomorrow

My CSN family and friends,

   I have been a bit quiet lately as many things have been going on medically. I had my follow up colonoscopy and CT scan. The colonoscopy was clear. No signs of cancer and no polyps. The CT scan showed enlargement of the thyroid and a 10 inch abdominal mass. The thyroid biopsy came back benign. No need for surgery, follow ups as required. The abdominal mass was biopsied and came back benign. The surgeon is not comfortable with that diagnosis.  His concerns are the mass grew so large in a year and during chemotherapy. I am having surgery tomorrow at 2:30 for the removal of the mass , possible colon resection and hernia repair.  Surgery is scheduled from 2-6 hours with a 4-5 day hospital stay. Thank you for all your positive thoughts and prayers
