    Tests

Thank you both for your kind thoughts. Results are good. Surgeon found cause of oncologist concern. Prolapse & scar tissue. Both from radiotherapy. So, no cancer at local level.  My surgeon & anaesthetist are a fab team & worthy of my trust.

Scans coming up soon so the Scanxiety will kick in.

I went along for surgery Monday am as planned. However, they had a problem with beds in as much as there were 19 of us scheduled for day surgery, but only 5 available beds! The poor ward manager was stressed out trying to sort it out. Apparently it's a regular occurrence these days. Sad state of affairs. I hope all the others had their procedures completed on Monday.

So, the story so far is that I am still part of the 'so far, so good' club. That is so much better than the time horizon being brought down on me. I know APR does have some success, & if necessary, I would deal with it. Glad however, at this time I don't have to.

Again, many thanks for thinking of me

I am so glad for your update and thank goodness you can relax just a bit, knowing that your cancer is thought not to have returned,  May your upcoming scan confirm that.  I do hope that you can avoid APR in the future.  I send hugs of congrats to you for this good news and hope you'll keep us posted.  Hugs!
